I am very pleased with my heat pump and I appreciated the knowledge of Simon Annear’s sales team and installers. Other fitters tried to get us to replace all our central heating pipes/radiators when we actually only needed one radiator replaced (we were expecting this). The house feels cosy and is costing very little to heat compared to our old LPG system. The Vaillant app is great for tracking usage and it is running really efficiently.

Very friendly staff. Had underfloor heating installed last year during renovating, they done a fab job. Had issues with my underfloor heating over the weekend, called on Monday morning and they came out the same day and got it all working again. So grateful for their help during this cold snap.
We have recently had a Vaillant heat pump and all new radiator circuit supplied and fitted by Simon Annear. We are now super warm and toasty! From beginning to end of the project we have been well looked after by all concerned. A very big thank you to Dan Smith for all of his help in the design and quote phase and of course many thanks too to Nick and Dillon for all their work in fitting the system. We didn't understand a great deal about Air Source Heat Pumps but as we had solar panels already and truly needed to replace our Oil Boiler that was nearly 40 years old, it seemed the direction to go while the GUS Grant was available to us.We had 4 different quotes and definitely learnt a lot from each visit and what they suggested our 1950's Semi Detach required [our ECP Certificate gave us a 'C 87' rating].Dan Smith visited us for our quote, his response was quick full of information and reassurances, gave us a probable date of September or October and answered our list of questions readily and clearly. That was followed with a stream of clarification questions which were answered very swiftly and clearly and reassured me; as Dan said 'there was no question too silly'.Clear quotes/invoices were forwarded swiftly along with starting date and details - we had 10 days notice and fitted in with our plans brilliantly. Dan sent us the Ofgem digital application form and in four days our application was approved.The plumbing was done by RIch who worked solidly from 8 am till his days end. The Deliveries of ASHP and Canisters and piping etc., all arrived to our home and the team arrived to carry the heat pump through our home to its location. It’s truly heavy piece of kit!As all progressed we became more impressed!The electrician Mat, arrived and quickly sourced all routes of removal and replacement of electrical needs and fitted the internet gateway. All worked continually and methodically with great respect to our home and full discussion on placement of switches or dials was very appreciated along with their suggestions. Needless to say our home offered its own challenges and they met this with solutions always for us to be happy.We just wish we had done this two years ago but felt daunted by its technology and changes it presented for us.A great suggestion that we agreed to be added was the iBoost to work with our solar panels and reduce our electric bills further and you can push a display button and show how much solar power is helping our hot water tank.We are miffed that September is prooving a warmer month for us not to have needed our heating as yet.We even like our Vaillant Phone App which gives us so much information on the warmth of our home, planned heat timings, all sorts of life style options you can choose from.The finished deal looks really impressive in our home and we managed to accomodate it well thanks to Dan's first visit to survey where it was to go.The tidyness of everyone was greatly appreciated and the Air Source Heat Pump and it looks wonderful in its location.Thank you to all involved from Simon Annear Plumbing & Heating Ltd., we are grateful to you all for your help and efficiency and pleasant encounters throughout; and all the challenges you endured getting it in our home.

You will only be offered the system that best fits your individual situation, and that all the personnel involved in a subsequent installation will arrive on time, are very personable, know what they're doing, and leave no mess!
After loosing hot water over night Simon Annear Plumbing responded to my call, we received excellent super efficient service the same day, the engineer could not have been more professional, promlem solved

Ours was a retrofit of a 12kw Vaillant Air-source recovery pump system inreplacement of an oil-fired boiler serving an existing wet system in anenlarged 3-bedroom traditional cottage.We have to say that from the outset the advice and guidance received fromSimon Annear staff was excellent, and was delivered over several visits,always at our request.The installation itself took place in late 2021 just as The Omicron phase of the pandemic became evident, and despite consequent staffing and supply-chain challenges Simon Annear staff completed the main elements of dismantling the old and installation of the new systems within 3 days. A couple of ‘fine-tuning’ visits from engineers over following days saw the system running as promised.Having arranged a service contract with Simon Annear following the end of the warranty period we can also report that servicing visits, and the single system adjustment visit required over the past two years were carried out promptly and with the same lack of inconvenience to us as had been the installation.Without reservation we would recommend Simon Annear to anyone considering a similar conversion.Mike and Jenny Reed, February 2024
Simon Annear installed an air source heat pump in my house last year. The team were so professional. The quote was detailed and site specific, with each room individually assessed and only two radiators needing to be replaced. Other companies just assumed all needed replacing which had a huge impact on the quote. The system was installed within a few days and all on the team worked tidily and efficiently. My heating system is working brilliantly - we have a cosy home and it's easy to manage. Can fully recommend Simon Annear.
Simon Annear ltd came to replace my existing heat pump, circa 14 years old with a new system. The initial quote was very competitive and with the system they use there is a 7 year warranty and an annual service as per their monthly plan (£15 for piece of mind and knowing they will call out if anything goes wrong is good compared to our previous heat pump company)The process of installing the new system and taking away the old one was smooth. The installation only took a few days. The new system Appears much more efficient, much quieter and looks much neater in our garden. There is only one inside tank compared to 2 on our old system.Overall I am very pleased with the Vaillant heat pump 9 months down the line.
